Usually indicates the country of final processing. It does not mean every ingredient originated in Japan.

Protein — guaranteed analysis

“Minimum” is a guaranteed floor, not the exact amount in every serving.

脂質

Fat — guaranteed analysis

Read the inequality sign with the number. A minimum value is not an exact measured value.

水分

Moisture

Use moisture when comparing dry and wet foods; package percentages are not directly comparable.

代謝エネルギー

Metabolisable energy

Check whether the unit is per 100 g, per pouch, per can or per serving.

Minimum / at least

The manufacturer guarantees the value will not fall below the stated number.

A chicken-derived ingredient is named in the Japanese statement.

Thickener / stabiliser

Used to adjust texture or stability; the label may use a category name.
